Tasca Tierras del Sur

If you find yourself in Granadilla, Tenerife, and if you want to sample some excellent tapas, may I point you to the Tasca Tierras del Sur? Well, doesn‘t matter if I may, because this is exactly what I will do.

It‘s a small affair, which means you‘ll have to bring time. But you‘ll be greeted with open arms and probably a small aperitif to get things started. The tapas on the menu are very interesting, and a lot of them are variations on traditional tapas but with an extra twist in terms of taste. Gambas in garlic sauce? On the menu, of course, but just look at the item below and you‘ll find gambas with an anis note, because the sauce is made with Pernod. A delicacy. We were talked through the menu, the different tastes and had help finding the right combination; although I usually like to myke up my own mind, the recommendations fit together nicely. Plus, the red wine we had was from Tenerife and also delicious.
