Tasca la Cantera

We had dinner at the exzellent Tasca la Cantera. If you’d like to go: please make a reservation! We didn‘t, but fortunately the nice people were still able to get us a table.

As starters, we had scampi in what seemed to be a fried dough or wan-tan like noodle (please don‘t kill me for that statement, I‘m perfectly aware it wasn‘t an Asian dish, and I also forgot the name) as well as bits of bread with olive oil, chorizo and quail eggs.

My lovely wife then had Langustinos, and I enjoyed the Pollo al Chimichurry. We also had red wine from Tenerife, which was a good choice for our meal.

Since it was our first day, we also had postres – Tirami Su for my wife, and a Mojito sorbet for me. It had been a long day indeed, but also a very nice start of a holiday!
