We got up at 2:45 this morning. Why would we get up at such an early time? Well, one of the few good reasons is a vacation.
I’ll leave out all the boring bits that come with travelling nowadays; suffice to say that we had finally arrived and had our rental car by noon. We made our way to Grenadilla; a small town a few kilometers from the coast. The hotel we had chosen turned out to be a fantastic little gem!
Since we got up so early, we didn’t do a lot so far. We explored the town for a little bit, witnessed some local people enjoying drinks in the sun and had a decent pizza. We also sat in the warm sun at 26 degrees Celsius, read a bit and just .. thawed. Winter wasn’t as bad as in other years, but it’s so nice to enjoy the warm air and Spring sun.
Next we’ll look for dinner. I am quite aware there’s not a lot going on in this post, dear reader; but it has been a short night and a long day.
